A University of Plymouth graduate, experienced microbiologist and member of the Chartered Quality Institute, Ben joined Biovault as Quality Manager in 2015 and became General Manager in 2022.

Biovault’s HTA HTA-designated individual and WDA WDA-responsible person, Ben works closely with JACIE as a Processing and Quality Management Inspector.

Ben is committed to extending Biovault’s growth as an industry leader, setting benchmarks in cell therapies and cryogenics.

Technical manager

Mike joined Biovault in 2014, having specialised in Transfusion, Transplantation and Microbiology at the University of Plymouth.

A member of the Institute of Biomedical Science, Mike has worked with universities such as UCL as a Company Supervisor for KTPs.

An experienced laboratory manager and technician, Mike is HTA Persons Designated, JACIE Processing Facility Director and works closely with NHS hospitals to provide services from cleanrooms and cryogenic storage to quantitative assays.

Siobhan joined Biovault in 2014 as a laboratory technician before becoming Laboratory Supervisor.

Now our Quality Manager, Siobhan provides support for the NHS Stem Cell Transplant Programme and is the Senior Information Risk Owner for our Information Governance policy.

A member of the Research and Quality Association, Siobhan facilitates Biovault’s quality driven practices, participating in audits for regulatory bodies including HTA, JACIE and MHRA.
