Human Tissue Authority (HTA)
Biovault is licensed to procure, process, import, export, test, store, and distribute tissues and cells for human applications under HTA regulations.
The HTA’s mission is to support public confidence by regulating organisations that store and use human tissue. Biovault fully supports this goal by adhering to the rigorous standards set forth by the HTA, ensuring that every material in our care is managed with the utmost safety, respect and integrity.

jacie - the joint accreditation isct & ebmt
Biovault is proud to be accredited by JACIE for cell processing, minimally manipulated storage, and IEC storage and to have a JACIE Inspector, General Manager Ben Charles, lead our team.
This prestigious accreditation allows us to support clinical units and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation services, as we have since 2006 with the South West Peninsula Transplant Service.
JACIE is Europe’s only official accreditation body in the field of stem cell therapies and cellular therapies, ensuring that all services are performed to the highest clinical standards.
